How long has your dental practice been going?

We’ve been going since 1975, when Dr Ivan Young joined forces with Dr Paul Blatch and his associates at a Kembla Street, which was then the Wollongong Dental Practice. The practice served many generations of families in the Illawarra area, providing quality dental services. Then in the early 1980s, they established a branch in Woonona.

Dr Beena Kurian and Mr Shinu Joseph took over the management and ownership of these practices and, in November 2014, formed Woonona Dentists.
Following Dr Young’s retirement in 2016, Dr Amit Chakravarti, Dr Fiona Rana, and Dr Mohit Tilani joined the practice to continue providing high-quality dental care.
In July 2017, we established Dapto Dentists in nearby Dapto to be better placed to serve the dental needs of families living in the southern Illawarra region.
