Dr. Beena Kurian

Dr Beena Kurian leads the dental team at Woonona Dentists. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Oxford Dental College, Bangalore, in 2007. After moving to Wollongong in 2010, she completed the Australian Dental Council examinations. She and Mr Shinu Joseph formed Woonona Dentists in November 2014.

Her clinical interests include family dentistry, restorative and cosmetic care, children's dentistry and implant-supported restorations. She undertakes continuing education and discusses treatment with patients in relation to their concerns, needs and budget.

Outside dentistry, Beena enjoys cooking, travel and time with family and friends. She also participates in community projects in Australia and India.

Dr. Natasha Khushalani

Dr Natasha Khushalani is a dentist at Woonona Dentists who graduated in 2007. She provides general dental care and has an interest in orthodontic treatment for children and adults. Her further study includes a three-year Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, completed in 2012.

Natasha's interests include early orthodontic intervention in children and functional appliance therapy. She considers tooth alignment, facial aesthetics, function and stability when planning care. She attends continuing education courses and plans treatment around each patient's needs and budget.

She places emphasis on communication, prevention and regular oral health maintenance. Outside work, Natasha enjoys travel, exploring different cuisines and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Abha Verma

Dr Abha Verma is a dentist at Woonona Dentists with clinical experience in Wollongong, Sydney and regional New South Wales. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and has undertaken further study in root canal treatment. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association.

Her clinical interests include root canal treatment, children's and family dentistry, and restorative care such as crowns and bridges. Abha attends continuing professional development and discusses care in relation to each patient's needs and budget.

Dr. Chin Valsan

Dr Chin Valsan is a dentist at Woonona Dentists with experience in public hospitals and private practice. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) from the University of Sydney.
