Oral cancer encompasses a range of cancers that affect any part of the oral cavity. This includes: lips, tongue, salivary glands and mouth.

Tobacco use and excessive alcohol consumption are contributors to oral cancer.

If not detected early, oral cancer can require surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and may be fatal.
